I have had many bags not arrive and each time I reached out to costumer service and they either did nothing and I lost my money or they send they would resend it and never did. Some of the products were the same as stuff u could get for free. Also when you try to cancel it you're only able to pause it so after one to three months you start getting charged again and can not permanently cancel. Overall it is awful and not a simple subscription service to try.
Sense the beginning it was just a series of unfortunate events. I subscribe and awaited my first bag, NEVER CAME! They told me to wait due to Covid... 3WEEEKS later still nothing! I updated my shipping information in the time span they recommend to update them in time. They had well over a month after I updated it and they still end up sending my "replacement bag" to the wrong address! I lost $25 to Ipsy and never got any bag. They are so unprofessional and unorganized.

I joined and never received the product. They have no customer service number to call so you can only write them by messenger or email. I was told to wait 9 more days. STILL did not receive it. Contacted them again and they said another one would be mailed out in 15 BUSINESS days. I said no I dont want to wait 15 more days and was told they don't issue refunds. I will not use them again nor will I recommend them to anyone. This is poor business practice in all areas.
Canceled my membership and was bombarded with emails to re join. Apparently one of the emails automatically re signed me up if I didn't decline within a certain time period. This ended up re establishing my account and charging my credit card. Was told that they couldn't refund bc the BAG (of crap) already shipped. This was 3 1/2 weeks ago and now they say it "just shipped" - a complete scam joke - once you sign up they will charge you forever - BEWARE!
I have paid for months of Glam bags, at $50.00 a month and never have received not one bag, now I am out at least $200.00 and that is just a close estimation.
I’ve enjoyed Ipsy for the past year but this month I never received my Glam X bag and can’t get any help. If I can believe it the package has been sitting at Pitney Bowes since the 10th of the month. I can’t get any help from Ipsy until June 2nd - not happy and going to cancel subscription
I never received the first two glam bags, and have received nothing so far but they already charged my credit card. SO I cancelled my membership, then they told me I actually have TWO memberships (I never took out a second membership with them). They said they would cancel that for me also. However, still have not received a single product from this business. The tracking numbers they send you, there is no information on them other than it's a tracking number but does not say whether your bag is in transit. There is something fishy about it. After reading other reviews online, I should have not dealt with this business to begin with.

The product qualities overall themselves are pretty good. However, the personalization options I had chosen were not very accurate matches. I cancelled after one box and I was unaware that I also had to cancel the refreshments option. If you have subscribed to that; when you cancel your account it will not cancel the refreshments. You will still get charged monthly, and you must cancel that separately. I feel like this is a hidden fee for them to still make money even after you don't subscribe to the boxes anymore.
This Ipsy company is a scam. They charged me 17.57 instead of the 12.99 as promised and I NEVER RECIEVED ANY OF THEIR PRODUCT! I emailed them demanding a refund and to leave. E alone, no word yet, I HATE IPSY, NOTHING BUT SCAMMERS AND WHATS MORE, I DONT EVEN HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS SITE, IM GOING TO TAKE THE TIME AND GET A NEW CARD SENT OUT NOW, DEACTIVATE MY BANK CARD BUT I HOPE I CA. SAVE SOMEONE ELSE THE STRESS THEY HAVE CAUSED ME TONIGHT

Honestly I liked all the products I got, very neat, and it comes with its own makeup bag, very cute! One pleased customer. Also I like basics subscription as for now, gives me freedom to try out new stuff without being committed to it.
I used this company for over a year and loved it so much I upgraded my bag to the glam plus in Feb. 2021 and also bought a make-up palette. I've been charged monthly now for not one but BOTH subscriptions and have received ZERO merchandise since placing my order and being charged for my monthly bag(s) since Feb 2. This company is literally impossible to reach since the chat is simply an automated response stating I haven't received my item due to extended shipping times because of covid. I can't find a number to contact them or speak to an actual person. The automated chat stated they don't offer refunds so I'm now having to dispute $118.72 in charges with my credit card company. I feel that this company is a scam now and would highly advise against using them to save yourself the headache down the road.
I like ipsy but the product are a little too small. They need to be a smidge larger. They had a mask in a tube and i went to use it, applying sparingly as per the directions i ran out before getting to my forehead. Hair conditioner, I have long hair but even Dorothy Hamill would be hard pressed to get enough to decide if she liked it or not. Don't get me wrong that's only half of the products. Makeup,hand cream, nail polish and the like gives you several uses.
Horrible customer service! Ipsy's boxes don't arrive, and when we attempted to cancel, it was impossible! Worse yet, they keep charging for the bases that never arrive. there is a reason you can't talk to people on the phone. It's because they might actually have to take action

Virtually impossible to cancel. Their published number in San Mateo CA 888 769 4526 is non funtional and neither is their webiste link to cancel subscription. In other words, it is almost impossible to cancel. I would talk to your bank or credit card to cancel the debits.
